The Chelmsford Veterans’ Memorial Park is a place of honor and recognition of the dedication to duty and sacrifices made by all veterans in our community. This peaceful setting is here to be enjoyed by everyone. It is our hope that those who come will remember those who answered the call in defense of our freedom.
History
What began as a dream of Vietnam Veteran Milton “Mike” Kinney and other members of a local veterans’ group, the Chelmsford Veterans’ Memorial Park officially opened on Friday, July 3, 1992. The park is dedicated to all veterans of Chelmsford, living or deceased, who served in all wars and conflicts. Some scenes from the Park dedication ceremony held July 3, 1992….
